My husband has recently died. He owned a 1987 FXR Harley Davidson. I know it is an old California police bike. I know it has all original parts with it, even paint. Of course my husband had personalized it with a different seat, took saddle bags off, took off the large windshield and stuff like that, but he kept all the original parts. However, I don´t know any thing else about this bike or how much it is worth. Before he died he said it was worth the price of 10,000.00 dollars and a 16 hour car trip to pick it up. We paid cash and he was an old biker. Can anyone tell me how much it approx is worth. Like I mentioned earlier it does not compare to the other bikes I´ve seen on most sites because they have all personalized it and no one has there bikes original parts, including windshield, saddle bags, seat and lots, lots more that come with the price of their bikes. Please help I know very little about bikes, except I use to enjoy riding with him.
