Replace leaky front forks |

I am an Englishman who has been living in the states for about 7 years now. I used to ride bikes all the time back home, including my first bike a glorious 4 stroke Honda SS50 and have now decided to treat myself to a cheap project bike. I have bought a 1987 CB600F for $900. The party that I bought it from had it looked at by a bike shop and they ascertained among other things that the front forks were leaking. Now not having any prior dealings with American bike mechanics I was curious as to how much I should expect to pay to have this remedied. Any feedback on this or any other subject pertaining to this most beautiful of bikes will be greatly appreciated. Cheers Andy |
