I have owned this type of bike for about four years now and i have spent hours restoring it, the only common fault you will find apert from the usuall tyre wear and chain wear is it can sound a bit rattly but that is just the sound it makes, you have to watch for the voltage regulator that is common to pack in, £80 for a replacement but besides that its a fine reliable fast bike that can outrun any modern vfr on the road. if you want pictures of mine i will send them via email p.s. my one is very low mileage 29,000 miles, would never sell it though its a classic.
