Greetings! I was looking for a nice,low cost light weight mid sized used bike.. I was almost about to purchase a basket case 74 triumph bonnie.. while doing the bike shop crawl I came across a very nice low milage vfr750f... it hasnt been riden since 1993. I would like some feed back on the dependability of the 87 vfr750f, the bike its self is a bit dirty, the inside of the gas tank is rusted,and it needs two new tires, when hooked up to a external gas tank it started easily and settled down to a warm idle quickly. The rest of its running gear seems to be in good condition. I would be greatfull for any advice concerning the 87 vfr 750 f. thank you.
