I just picked up an 87 GPZ from a friend, for my son. I know when they had the safety check done, they also installed a new battery. They had to order it twice, and the first one that was listed for the 87 was incorrect. I thiunk the guy at the shop yold me he had to order a battery for an 84 model. Let me check the bike and see what brand/model is actually in there.
