I am trying to put on a progressive lowering spring on the front of my zl1000 eliminator. I took off the forks and have been trying to push down on the top cap that has a air valve on it. Under the cap is suppose to be a C clip and once you take that off the cap comes off along with the spring . I am having no luck can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong...... I may have to take them into a dealership and have it done, something I was trying to avoid. Thanks for any help that you may supply. Hoping to hear from an experienced person on this matter ....................
