On the right side of the engine at the top right, thereĀ“s a lever that the first part of the cable goes to, its almost underneath the gas tank. Then the end of the cable goes down into the crevice to the right of the kick starter. Also, having this bike for 6 years without the compression release then having it setup, its amazing the difference of it and surprised i never bothered to replace the cable before.
