86 Yamaha XT 600 discussion forum:

XT 600 S or SC?

What is the difference? I can only guess one is a CA model and has some environmental things like fuel and vapor recovery systems, smog pump, etc. Does anyone know how to tell the difference? VIN number or where the smog pump could be located?
