Sagging Kickstand Lobe

I´ve got a 1984 XT600 with over 30000 miles on it. The kickstart has never really been easy, and I rely on using the kickstand down. Over the years the bike now lists abit more than it should. Question: Should I bother the try and heat up/bend back this lobe? Maybe smack it cold with a sledge?
Thanks in advance.
