hello all my name is shawn and i have a 1982 suzuki gs 1100 g this is the first street bike that i have gotten legal, well i rode it about three weeks and the voltage regulator/rectifier burnt up, as you all know theses regulators/rectifiers are not cheap, im wondering if there is anyway to bypass the regulator and run a switch directly from the alternator to the battery and manually charge the battery, i have two batterys and i get about 50 miles to the battery but it gets old carrying a battery in a bag on my back, any suggestions would be greatly appriciated, email me at boozer49270@yahoo.com thank much.
