What would give me a better sound?

What would give me a better sound?

I would like to change the factory sound of my thumper but I am Not sure what would sound better. My options are either removing the baffles from the factory pipe or running 2 inch straight pipe.
I am not even sure if the baffles can be removed from the factory system and if I run straight pipe should I join on to the original header or run one piece straight off the head.
Any suggestions?
