I bought one new in ´86. It was candy red with the flat handle-bar. I loved the way it fit me. It sure could have used a bigger tank too. Around 100 miles and then it went on reserve. At the time there wasn´t a windshield made to fit the flat bar so bad weather riding was pretty bad. I took some 450 mile round trips on it to rallies and it never failed to draw a crowd. Lots of people thought it was a custom. Too bad Suzuki doesn´t make it anymore with the flat bar. It really gave it that cruiser look and was very comfortable for my 5´11" frame. A 5-speed gearbox would have been better too for long-distance cruising. I wish i still had it.
