just bought a shadow ACE100. came with removed deccals, K&N and jet kit, vance and hines pipes, corbin seat and drag bars. im totaly happy with the bike and would reccomend it to any one. very good harley look alike, ive had guys asking me "what kind of harley?" or "is that a sporter?" i would recommend the vance & hines pipes, they are loud with out being heaty. i don´t think an 1100 would be too much for a beginner. although its fast, you aren´t going to be accidently popping wheelies, or spinning the tire. it is a little heavy but you will catch on sooner than you think. i haven´t heard many good things about the 750. 750 is slow and high matnence in comparison to the 1100. so if you want a bike that you will be happy with go with the 1100. at the same time it is a good bike for a veteran. all in all a good bike. its got the looks, sound and sufficient power (not too much, not too little) feel free to email me i can show you pics of my custom shadow 1100 and answer your questions.
