Does anyone read this thread? Anyway I notice I´m not the only one with stator troubles. I ended up going to an auto electrician who had it rewound (twice) before solving that problem. I´m really keen to get hold of a manual, if you have one I could buy it or pay you to make me a copy. The only other issue is when motor is hot, bike cuts out completely, after cooling for 30 mins runs fine again. Can anyone else shine a light on this hard to troubleshoot issue? Email me g3h4@hotmail.com Otherwise these are a great fun bike I use it 100% on the road and it´s brilliant! The dual spark plug design makes it easy to start unlike other thumpers of this era. Cheers guys.
