Sooo. This is my 2nd ´86 1000r. Bought this one and sold last one because it was more stock. I have a thing for the dual exhaust and all the doodads still intact. According to my mechanic it´s better. And what a deal. $300 and trade a few guns. Drove it home. Was a 4 hour trip and acted up releasing all the rust in the tank. Got it to my mechanic and he said so much black rust that he ruined his gas can cleaning it with chemicals. Now has minor oil leak. Bought sear covers and speedo gear I haven´t put on yet. I looove the sound it makes. I want to drive it more then my other 2 bikes. Built great! Water is getting in the gas somehow. Pit a tank bra over the cap.
