g´day Ste. After reading your message i have to say i can´t agree more the rx has to be the most exiting old bike i´ve riden too. I bought my rx from a copper,when i took it for a test run he told me it ran fine exept for a slight flat spot approaching highway speed. While test riding i didn´t notice it so i squeezed the throttle a little harder sure enough there it was, what i didnt realise was that she was well into the redline, and pushing well over 200 k´s (HIGHWAY SPEED ?) it then occured to me that this flatspot was actualy the rev limiter or the thing that quickly stops first gear wheelies in mid-flight(and hurts ya nuts)i wish i could get rid of that! Never the less there´s no reason to push it that far as i discovered when I dragged off two of my riding buddies one; on a 04,r1 the other on a; 04 gsxr750. Without touching redline weren´t they embrassed, well until i clicked 4th and they caught me. From that day on she had proved to me that if you can get used to tank slapping a little in the bumpy windy stuff there is no need to spend your hard earned cash on the latest boy racer rocket, when you might just get rounded up by your old rx down the old road on any given sunday. In conclusion i say good for you for sticking with with your rx they feel how a bike should on the road, no computers no abs, no %!¤ just old school thrills and fun and always remember, \
