Just a couple of tips for ya brian, Get a sheepskin seat cover for your GPZ and you wont regret it. Especially when on a long ride. Make sure you flush the coolant out of the radiator every 4th oil change (20,000km) If the temp runs high when sitting idle at lights or traffic when you first get the bikechange it straight away. Use semi-sinthetic motul oil and always us the genuine oil filter (change every 5000km) this will give you optimum engine life. I strongly suggest getting the manual for the bike. I found most parts for the 1000RX are the same as the GPZ 900. Good Luck and Happy riding.
