Great all-round sport bike

This motorcycle, Honda´s first generation VFR, is a classic today. The winner of three national Superbike titles in its first two years of production, the bike is bullet-proof, fast and drop-dead gorgeous. It was sold in the US only one year and tariffs limited subsequent VRFs to 700cc displacements. It can still be creditably raced in vintage class events, used as a canyon carver, a daily commuter and, with the right luggage setup, as a very capable sport-tourer. Top speed is in excess of 140 mph.

Expect to pay around $3000 for a well-cared for model.
