The little 500 Interceptor was originally sold as a middleweight sport bike. Very light, easy to handle and not overwhelmingly fast. The 1986 model was the baby Interceptor´s last year, and it avoided the camshaft problems that plagued the older and bigger VFs.

Makes a terrific first bike, and women riders seem to find its dimensions particularly well-suited for them.
