I ran bike low on oil an broke a piston ring. Cylinder wall scored. Used ball hone to remove damage and seem to have removed all but a couple scratches at thebottom of the bore where the piston skirt made contact. I wanted to try and re-ring same piston because the existing rings still fit well in the lands and only superfical damage only occurred on the skirt and I was able to buff it out. I ordered the rings and they don´t fit the piston I have. I´m told I have to buy a new piston. So I figured if I´m going to spend the money for a new piston I´d better get the cylinder too but I´m told that they are no longer making them. Does anyone have a hookup for parts on this bike???
One more thing.... I need a front brake master cylinder and that is also discontinued. Any suggestions on a retrofit???
