Hi, my name is Ron and I recently picked up a vintage 86´ HD FLTC Tour Glide Classic and I am having issues with the battery not staying charged on the bike. The bike had been sitting for about 2 years before I purchased it so I went out and bought a new battery thinking (hoping) that it was just a dead cell. New battery read 12.6V when I installed it. I rode the bike around for about 30-45mins and when I got back home took a reading across the battery terminals and it read only 12.2V. Also the voltmeter on the fairing only shows about 11V max and when I put the turn signal on the meter drops drastically. Any help in troubleshooting this issue would be greatly appreciated.
