I´ve had several softails and currently own a ´96 Heritage Classic that I bought new. 1. Yes, there is some vibration, especially when new... after about 10K miles, the shocks breakin and it becomes almost unnoticeable. 2. No, the engine is not rubber mounted, and can only be done so with an aftermarket frame. 3. I´ve put 100K+ miles on this bike in the last 10 years, and the only expense has been tires and routine maintenance. Take care of the bike, and it will not be a money pit. |
