I own a 1987 FZ 750 Genesis. I bought it as a rebuild project, It came in several boxes and various replacement parts, ie a complete Micron system, Hagon rear shock, New brake disks front and rear, Tyres. Rear sprocket, Set of new braided hoses. Well for the price i couldn´t pass it up..
Since buying it 18 months agao, I have had the frame and wheels bead blasted and powder coated Sun/Gold Yellow. The fairing and plastics were Red and White and in bad condition as you would expect, So i have had them repaired and resprayed along with the fuel tank and a solo seat cowl that came with the bike, In Two Tones of Metalic Mediteranean Blue, It should look good with the Yellow metal work and minimal silver grafixs
I have also replaced all the bearings.
There are a few problems though. The wiring loom is past its best and 1 of the exhaust studs had snapped and i cant get it out of the block, If your looking at outlets its the first 1 on the right and i think the engine needs a strip down, It hasn´t run for 3 years in total if the guy i bought it off is to be believed. As im no mechanic, I could do with some help to point me in the right direction as to any problems i might come across.
