87 Yamaha XJ 600 (reduced effect) discussion forum:

On the specs web sites I see two different Horsepower ratings for the 87 xj600, One is 72 at 10,000rpm other is 50 at 9250rpm.
Is the motor the same on both the reduced effect and regular xj or did they use a different motor on the reduced effect?
