Battery output

How many volts does the battery need to start. My Battery is putting out 12.72 volts however it jus does that clicking noise like a dead Battery. Question is does battery need to put out more volts and how many should it put out. Its a H/D battery E16 cca 330.Any info would help! Thanks.
