I have recently purchased a vintage 1988 GL1500 and am in the need of tires this year. I have had previous experience with a 1986 Honda SE-i that I sold back in ´93. When I took it to Florida on vacation I had a very scarey experience while crossin the bridge onto St. Petersburg island. the grooves on the bridge threw me around so severely that by the time I reached the other side I had almost come to a complete stop. I now am getting ready to put new rubber on this bike and all of the highways have been resurfaced here in Missouri with the rain-grooves built in. I don´t want to go through that experience again if I can find a tire that will not react severely to these monsters. Any help???
Thanks!
John
