i need some help.my girlfriend just bought a 1989 cbr 600,and i am having ignition problems.im not getting any fire across all cylinders.the plugs are not bad, neither are the coils.i have tested the spark unit, and pulse generator.all test fine.what can i do please help. alittle back ground on the bike.the owner i bought it from bought it from a militery guy.he was deported and left the bike in his back yard with his dog.well.........the dog chewed the wiring harness up and everything else it could get its mouth on.then he sold it to mike(the guy i bought it from).mike replaced the harness and the spark unit.still had no luck.when we got it i have replaced the starter relay(because it was broken).i dont really know if mike hooked up everything correct when he replaced the harness but everything looks inorder.the only thing that doesnt look right is the kick stand switch plug.well on the new harness it doesnt have one.so the plug isnt hooked up.i did notice that one of the wires on the plug is the same color as the wires that hook into the back of the coil (yellow/ with black stripe) i dont know if that would effect it or not.if you have incountered this problem before please help.
