I just picked my transalp out of storage. It´s been sitting for eight years now. I had it tuned and detailed a couple of months before it was put away. Today it has some rusty bolts and loose/ broken body plastic/ mirrors and a dead battery. I´m going to go through it to get it back on the road. I´m thinking this may be a good time to really go through and clean and possibly paint some parts. Maybe a total restoration. Has any one stripped and rebuilt their bike. How were the results, was it worth all the work and money?
