Yes, NX is a reliable bike. It has some problems though and the most annoying of those is the overly soft suspension which makes the bike friendly and forgiving when it starts to slide but try to brake hard and you´ll see what happens... The CR250 2T makes over 40bhp. It is impossible to beat it with an NX. It must be very-very old and poorly maintained if indeed you beat it with the 20bhp on the wheel that makes the NX
