I´ve owned my 1989 since 1995 and it has been very reliable. The only real issues were with the turn signals. There is a module attached to the right fork under the dash that doesn´t have a very secure plug and it will sometimes come loose when you turn the bars hard left causing the signals to not work. After a few times of this happening I secured the plug in the module with shrink and have had no issues. It does eat back tires pretty quick also. But I can´t say anything bad about this bike. Had plenty of offers to sell at various rallies but can´t bring myself to getting rid of it.
