Hi.

The starter clutch on my W16 is replaced with a KTM one.
Still, one time the bike was hard to start, so i burned the starter.
I didn´t know then, that the starter is too small and easily overheated.
However, i took the starter to a Car electrics repair workshop, and he fixed it. Costed 660SEK - Approximatly 60 Euros. I Dont really know how to translate what was wrong, to english, but he said it took him about an hour to fix. So maybe it´s worth a try before you buy a new starter?
