I have owned a 1990 GTR for 5 months and apart from many glitches to do with corroded electrics and sticking float valves, i think it is a lovely motorcycle and meets my needs of a fast comfortable long distance commuter, which can also be fun during leisure rides.
However i am considering swapping the carbs as they appear to be showing their age (54000 miles). Do RX1000 carbs provide an adequate replacement? Or must i search for a spare set of carb bodies as the throttle slides are quite worn?
