Hi everyone,
I have a 1990 cbr 1000f that was in mint condition until a lady pulled out in front of me and smacked upn the front end! The engine only has 9,000 on it and the tranny is smooth as ever. Unfortunately, the dealership wants $700 for the cowl and $740 a side for forks. They quoted me at $215 for the triple tree. I don´t have much experience in repairing motorcycles ,but I am determined to repair this bike! Plus I would like to save as much on cost as possible. I am wondering if anyone out there would be willing to lend a hand in helping me locate parts, that is cheaper than the dealers price. I need two forks, a triple tree, and the front fairings including the front fender. I could see to a finders fee for the right part/s.
