Clutch Slip |

Hi everybody I just bought a 1989 Domi .. it´s an Italian import into the UK & has done 27,000 kilometres. It´s pretty tatty but the engine is sweet enough .. also sweet handling now I´ve changed the fork oil, head races & tyres. I do have one problem ... now it´s handling nicely I´ve started riding it properly and guess what ? the clutch has started to slip under heavy acceleration. My questuion is this .. if the hillbilly garage that sold it to me gave it an oil change (as I insisted on as part of the deal) and they used car oil is this likely to provoke clutch slip, or am I just clutching at straws? My next question is ... is the clutch as difficult to access as it looks? (I don´t yet have a workshop manuel, otherwise I would look it up myself!) Any feed back much appreciated. |
