Hi,Just acquired a 1990 883 Sportster. Lovely bike but needs some sorting out, especially in the clutch department.
The clutch is dragging so it is impossible to select neutral unless the bike is moving. The clutch operation is also probably much heavier than it should be, so riding the bike is very tiring on the left hand and makes the whole experience unsatisfactory. I have never worked on a Harley before so I am trying to find out if there are any common problems re. the clutch before I start taking things apart. Any help would be very much appreciated. PeteK
