You are either using too low-octane gas or your engine is running with too high A/F ratio in midrange. Lift needles at least 2 units, or if possible visit closest dyno-bench to set the carbs in right conditions. If you have done something for the exhausts or/and air-filters, you should set the carbs also to avoid explosion of pistons.
