Stumped on Clutch

I have a 1997 Yamaha Royal Star XVZ 1300. I had to bleed the air out of the clutch because it wasn´t working right. The bike would go in all 5 gears but the travel in the clutch handle was short and the bike wanted to continue to travel forward with the clutch held all the way in. After bleeding the clutch, I have normal clutch control but the bike will not go into 4th or 5th gear. I do have 1st, 2nd and 3rd but no more. What do I look for next.
