97 virago 1100 ignition...no spark?

97 virago 1100 ignition...no spark?

My bike shut down, blown main fuse....turned out to be bad voltage regulator(was cracked and swelled)....put new one on and fuse stayed good.....bike ran for about 10 secs and would not start(it turns over), checked and had no spark...tested coils and they test good...........WHAT is the most likley problem? and how to test for it?
