how do you know the valve is sticking? i also have a problem with mine, the valve rattles when cold and if i pull on the cable the rattle goes away, once warm the rattle also goes away, i tried to adjust the valve cables according to yamaha specs with no difference. i have not removed the valve as it seems to work ok, the servo acctuates fine but it still bothers me. let me know what you find out and if anyone has any suggestions for these problems please advise. p.s. i love the bike and bought it after a long break from riding, i bought a new fzr 750 back in 1988, and had to have another yamaha 5 valve, the only way to go.
