Engine Rebuild.... top-end timing problems. Just to confirm(and does anyone know about this). piston number one at top dead centre TDC, with corresponding ´T´ mark aligned with the pointer in the crank inspection window, AND both camshaft indicator marks aligned with markers on the camshaft holders (and this is when the tensioner/blades are in place)... does this seem right????. If it´s right, then why am I having difficulty firing up the engine?? Incidently, Haynes manual is not the best when it comes to info on replacement valve-shim sizes!!! Many thanks. |
