2 suggestions. First off, take a racing school, they´ll teach you the right way to corner. Secondly, this bike is very heavy on the front end in street dress. If you take the front upper off, you´ll see it weighs around 20 lbs with the headlights and all. Therefore, to get the best, safest, and easiest cornering (and least wear on your front tire), slow down a little more than you would expect you need to and downshift before tipping the bike into the corner, then roll onto the throttle nice and easy through the corner. You´ll feel the suspension squat on the rear, the weight will come off the front, and as long as you´re not too hard on the throttle it should hook up and go. Remember, the bike will go where you´re looking, so don´t fixate on the curb on the far side. Using this technique, you´ll notice far less wear and cupping on your front tires, better cornering clearance, and the bike won´t push the front end out in a turn. Hope that helps.
