Removal of 2nd air box

Hi guys,

Bought a Marauder a few days ago and its a really sweet ride! Runs like a dream and Im only happy so far.

One question though. Previous owner has done some customization of the bike so its got a really clean look. He has removed what I think is referred to as the 2nd air box (chrome box at right side of cyliders). This got to have some function, no? Bought the bike from a dealership I do trust so I guess its OK to ride this way. But when I went through the stuff that came with the bike, I relalized this mod.

Greetings from Sweden
