A naked bike should have heeps of grunt where it is needed in the bottom end and midrange and still a healthy top end for it,s given weight.1000cc inline fours don,t cut it.106NM at 8000RPM and 110KW at astronomical revs FZ1.Try 123NM at 6500RPM and 103KW at8500RPM with lumpy but smooth V-Twin personality. This is the rev range that one sees 90% of the time when one rides. The new MV 1078cc Brutale will be better but it will still have a characterless overtly smooth power delivery and not as much torque lower in the rev range.Franco Lambertini,s 1200cc Corsa Corta Motor rocks even in a mild state of tune.
