I know where you lot are coming from, I have been working on a cost effective design for some years now. Each year there is some technology that appears. Some have enhanced my original ideas and design. I am just waiting for additional funding to build a prototype, and the time. The bike should retail at about 1.5 to 2k and will be a single seater with plans to bring out two later once all the bugs have been ironed out. However, legislation may hamper and restrict to a sporting vehicle. I am currently working on the ´escape´ system as the rider would have to be strapped in, yeah like thats going to happen, lol. The bike will be a vertical take off and landing configuration and run on everyday unleaded fuel. Top speed not too sure about yet but expected to be in the region of 150 - 200. Its original design is slim and mean and is not expected to fly above 100 feet although clouds are soft and don´t offer much resistance ;-). |
