Howsit. I own a 97 TLS and i love it. Mine has yoshi RS3´s I have had the rear damper replaced and have dropped the front end another 5mm. sounds small but it makes a huge diference. The TLS was detuned from 98 on so if you can get a 97 in good shape do it. the first 3 gears are highly restricted to stop wheelies/wheelspins but if the suspention has been done that is an easy fix by changing a bit of wiring (fool the bike into thinking it is in 6th all the time), and take out the flapper valves in the airbox to help it breath easier. take care and remember, even if you are a gret rider the tl has the ability to scare the pants off anyone now and again.
