Just bought a 1999 Suzuki Intruder VL 1500 cruiser with about 10K miles on the bike. The dealer had just replaced the clutch since the previous owner used a synthetic oil which burned the clutch as explained by the dealer. They recommended 20w50 oil for better clutch surface action. Does anyone know if the clutch needs a break in period for full surface retention. It seems the clutch is not grabing solidly. I am interested in others comments and suggestions on this great bike. It really rides and looks great with the Cobra slash cut pipes.
