Suzuki issued a factory blanking kit (special bolts) to replace the SRIS (Suzuki Recycle Injection System / Suzuki Rapid Implosion System) valves. I have one GT 550 B engine with them fitted and a GT 550 A engine with the blanking plugs installed. I´ve had one engine blow a left hand big end after a flung up stone (flint) from the front tyre severed the SRIS hose for that cylinder. The system only makes the bike smoke even worst when on the throttle as opposed to preventing it smoking so best fit the blanking plugs). I have a blown engine stripped down so I do have a set of blanking plugs spare if you want them. |
