I just put a Holeshot Exhaust system on.... |

I just added the Holeshot Performance exhaust slip on, from a 1997 Bandit 1200, and it has made the old GS 750 transform into an exotic Lady. Sounds impressive, real deep and throaty, enhanced low and midrange performance, over the stock or V&H Megaphone slip on that was being used. The V&H megaphones sound like shit, and are way way too loud and tinny sounding. It cost $60 to have a "sleeve" made, since the diameter of the HS slip on was the same as the V&H Header, and a clamp fabricated which bolted the can and pipe to the original pipe mount on the bike. It really is cool on the old bike. I´ve also got a 1980 GS1100 front end with duel brakes with vented rotors to put on. Maybe today, if I´m not riding the Old Girl. The suspension on old bikes sure is brutal. I´m looking for some Ohlins shocks for this bike. |
