Hi steve, I own a 1977 GS 750.My bike has a total mileage of 18000 miles (29000 Km)A friend of mine bought it brand new in Venezuela were he was working under a contract for the Venezolana de NavegaciĆ³n. Whe contract over he and three other friends decided to return home riding their bikes; two Honda Four, a Kawasaki Z 900 and the Gs. After arriving in Argentina ( the 1978 Soccer World Cup was taking place here, the owner of the Gs 750 went abroad and I kept the bike. In 1980 I purchased it from him and has ever since remained at home. Yesterday a started it as the weather is not suitable for riding right now.I have never changed nothig, not even the bulbs. Let me tell you that you bought a hell of a bike!!!! In the specifications it says top speed 198 Km/h but when I tried it it only reached 185 Km/h.This was many years ago when the bike was new and I was young( I am 54 to 55 right now). Thats all, I hope to hear from you soon Alec
