This is my second of these blue bombers. Twenty years ago I had one, and ironically, I believe this one to be in better shape. After I aquired it, the carb was rebuilt, and it ran perfectly. I gently laid it down on the left side, popped it back up, and now it doesn´t send a spark to the plug. The local Yamaha dealer doesn´t have any source coils available for it, if it turns out that is the problem. Got a tech troubleshooting it now. Has anyone had similar problems? Is there a source for used parts around? Should I keep this bike for blasting around my property, or will I be wrecking a collectable bike? It´s in really good shape considering the age, with only 12,000 km.
